VMF Technology and AMT Survey Deliver Successful Mineral Exploration Case Study in Botswana

Groundbreaking collaboration demonstrates the power of combining advanced remote sensing with geophysical verification to identify concealed mineral targets.

A successful exploration case study conducted in Botswana has demonstrated the effectiveness of integrating VMF Technology's satellite-based mineral detection platform with Natural-source Audio-frequency Magnetotellurics (AMT), providing a compelling new workflow for modern mineral exploration.

The project focused on a remote desert region where traditional exploration methods are often challenged by extensive surface cover and limited geological exposure. VMF Technology first identified multiple subsurface mineral anomalies using its proprietary multispectral remote sensing and predictive modelling techniques.

To independently evaluate these targets, an extensive AMT geophysical survey was conducted across the proposed exploration areas. The AMT results closely aligned with the mineralized structures predicted by VMF Technology, confirming the presence of significant conductive and resistive subsurface features consistent with the interpreted mineral targets.

The correlation between the independently acquired datasets provides strong technical validation of the exploration methodology. While each technology relies on fundamentally different scientific principles, both identified the same priority target zones, significantly increasing confidence in the exploration model.

The successful integration of VMF Technology and AMT demonstrates how advanced satellite analytics can be effectively combined with established ground-based geophysical methods to reduce exploration risk, improve targeting accuracy, and optimize drilling programs.
